Every year, the Brian Anselmino Memorial Fund awards two scholarships, one to a deserving Canon McMillan High School student and one to a deserving Ringgold High School student. These schools are selected because Brian went to Ringgold HS and Brian volunteered heavily at Canon McMillan HS. The Brian Anselmino Memorial Fund provides a one time scholarship to these students to help aid and continue their education and goodwill efforts. A brief overview of the scholarship requirements are below. Each school has the specific forms needed to apply for these annual scholarships.
Scholarship Requirement Overview
Brian’s life was tragically taken in an automobile accident. His passion for faith, life, family, friends, and volunteerism (especially with our youth) is what made Brian Anselmino such a unique person. Applicants are asked to write an essay how they are like Brian Anselmino in his efforts to help others, faith, family, friends and outlook on life. The scholarships are not financially need based. You must have at least a 2.8 grade point average. We are looking for students who volunteer their time to help others.
